You must be an organisation administrator to do this.
See this article for how to start the process of creating a new Classification.
Give the Classification a name.
We recommend that this is unique from other Classifications to help identify it.
Under Classification type, choose For Area Layers.
Choose values for the remaining properties. We've included the table below to help you.
|Property||What does it do?|
Choose the colour for the Classification.
When applying the Classification to records in an Area Layer, this colour will be used to fill the area it covers.
Choose the opacity for the colour.
This is used to provide a level of transparency when filling an area. A value of 0 is completely transparent and a value of 1 is completely opaque. We recommend a value between 0.4 and 0.6 for best results.
Click the Save button in the top-right to complete the process. You will then be automatically directed to select which Layers the Classification is for.
