To access your API keys, you must be an organisation administrator.
This article details how to access each of the API keys for your objects in Vision. Each set of instructions assumes you to be logged into Vision and starts from the map page.
Your organisation API key
This API key is required for all calls to the API.
- Click the Account Management button (it's the second button from the right in the top menu).
- Under the section titled Organisations I'm linked to, click the organisation you want to manage.
- In the first section titled Organisation details, click the Manage button to the right.
- In the first section titled Our details, you'll see the API key listed at the bottom.
Your layer API key
- Click the Account Management button (it's the second button from the right in the top menu).
- Under the section titled Organisations I'm linked to, click the organisation you want to manage.
- In the first section titled Organisation details, click the Manage button to the right.
- Under the section titled Our Layers, click the layer that you want the API key for.
- In the first section titled Layer details, you'll see the API key listed at the bottom.
Your classification API key
- Click the Account Management button (it's the second button from the right in the top menu).
- Under the section titled Organisations I'm linked to, click the organisation you want to manage.
- In the first section titled Organisation details, click the Manage button to the right.
- Under the section titled Our Classifications, click the classification that you want the API key for.
- In the first section titled Classification details, you'll see the API key listed at the bottom.
Your custom field API key
- Click the Account Management button (it's the second button from the right in the top menu).
- Under the section titled Organisations I'm linked to, click the organisation you want to manage.
- In the first section titled Organisation details, click the Manage button to the right.
- Under the section titled Our Custom Fields, click on the custom field that you want the API key for.
- In the first section titled Details, you'll see the API key listed at the bottom.
Your Find Your Nearest (FYN) ruleset API key
- Click the Account Management button (it's the second button from the right in the top menu).
- Under the section titled Organisations I'm linked to, click the organisation you want to manage.
- In the first section titled Organisation details, click the Manage button to the right.
- Under the section titled Our FYN Rulesets, click on the Rule that you want the API key for.
- In the first section titled Details, you'll see the API key listed at the bottom.
Your tag API key
- Click the Account Management button (it's the second button from the right in the top menu).
- Under the section titled Organisations I'm linked to, click the organisation you want to manage.
- In the first section titled Organisation details, click the Manage button to the right.
- Under the section titled Our Tags, click on the tag that you want the API key for.
- In the first section titled Details, you'll see the API key listed at the bottom.
Your filter API key
- Click the Account Management button (it's the second button from the right in the top menu).
- Under the section titled Organisations I'm linked to, click the organisation you want to manage.
- In the first section titled Organisation details, click the Manage button to the right.
- Under the section titled Our Layers, click the layer which has the filter that you want the API key for.
- Under the section titled My Filters, click the filter that you want the API key for.
- In the first section titled Details, you'll see the API key listed at the bottom.
